BLOCO DO PRAZER
Série de ilustrações da cantora Gal Costa, encomendada pelo Bloco do Prazer — coletivo musical paulista que desfila todos os anos no centro de São Paulo. As apresentações do grupo sempre homenageiam a artista: músicos e cantoras que compõem o projeto interpretam versões das músicas de Gal. As imagens produzidas seguem o mesmo conceito. Inspiradas em fotografias feitas para capas de discos dos anos 1970, elas combinam elementos gráficos coloridos com a imagem da artista, fazendo referência à carreira de Gal e ao Bloco do Prazer.
A series of illustrations of singer Gal Costa, commissioned by Bloco do Prazer — a São Paulo–based musical collective that parades every year in the city center. Their performances are always a tribute to the artist: the musicians and singers involved in the project present reinterpretations of Gal's songs. The illustrations follow the same concept. Inspired by photographs originally taken for album covers in the 1970s,
they combine colorful graphic elements with
images of the singer, referencing both Gal’s
career and Bloco do Prazer.
